Horsley Awarded $7.1M NSF Cooperative Agreement for Global Deep-Tech Startup Alliances

Northeastern's David Horsley, with Michelle Kiang of MTM Venture Partners, received a $7.1M NSF grant for "Scaling Deep Tech Innovation Through International Partnerships." In April 2025, the US-Singapore Workshop on Deep-Tech Innovation and Partnerships connected 17 US early-stage founders with Singapore's innovation ecosystem, co-organized by The Institute for NanoSystems Innovation at Northeastern University, Enterprise Singapore, the National Research Foundation, and A*STAR. The event linked startups with agencies, investors, and R&D facilities, producing joint funding proposals and the $12M-backed launch of Activate Global Fellows Singapore.
NanoSI Launches Singapore Research Attachment Program (SRAP) Partnership with Singapore’s Institute for Microelectronics (IME)
