Bi-Coastal Facilities
NanoSI takes advantage of the Northeastern global university system and multi-institutional partnership to provide a unique set of nationally distributed facilities and access nodes in the NanoVerse network.
Our INFRASTRUCTURE
NanoSI provides a 200-mm facility that combines the performance, reliability, and reproducibility of commercial manufacturing tools with the flexibility to handle a wide range of materials, structures and devices. NanoSI takes advantage of unique nano-manufacturing facilities that are available only at Northeastern University nation-wide to build prototypes that, if proven successful, can be directly transferred to commercial foundries for production.
The NanoVerse network and cyberinfrastructure are designed to:
Provide nanofabrication data access (devices design or AI training)
Enable an extended network for access to an EDA software environment and model sharing (physics)
provide a platform to develop, evaluate and use Digital Twins for nanofabrication processes (physics + AI)
create first repository for labeled experimental and augmented datasets on semiconductor nanomanufacturing
allow live access to time-series process/equipment datasets.
